2 more strategic targets of the Russian Federation are successfully hit: the main oil transshipment terminal and the airfield with Ruslan aircraft
Attacks by unclassified drones on targets in Russia demonstrate the leakiness of Russian air defense and the ability to hit strategic targets hundreds of kilometers away
Thanks to strikes by secret UAVs, cotton continues to be planted on strategic targets in Russia. And it seems that the strike on the oil transshipment terminal in the still-occupied Sevastopol on April 29 was a mere prelude.
According to available information, on the night of May 3, two more truly strategic facilities were hit in Russia – the Taman Liquefied Gas and Oil Products Transshipment Complex, which is a key facility of the Taman port.
Available video from the scene shows that at least one of the tanks, which is located near the railroad terminal, is on fire.
There is also an extremely strong difference in the reaction to the fire. While the occupation authorities in Sevastopol said that there was no reason to panic and the situation was under control, and that the attack destroyed or significantly damaged up to 8 tanks, as well as pipelines and other terminal equipment, the local administration immediately reported that the fire was highly complex. It reportedly covered an area of 1,200 square meters, involved five fire trains and about 200 firefighters.
It is worth noting that the Taman transshipment complex is declared by racists to be the largest in the Black Sea region. And the total volume of the tank farm for oil products and liquefied gas is more than 1 million cubic meters.
However, on the night of May 3, another strategic facility was attacked on the territory of the Russian Federation – the Seshcha airfield in the Bryansk region, which is an air base for the 566th Military Transport Air Regiment of the Russian VKS. It is the only one that has heavy An-124 Ruslan aircraft in service.
However, it should be noted that this airfield is also actively used by the Rashists to base tactical aircraft used for strikes. According to the Rashists themselves, the airbase was attacked by UAVs and one of the Ruslan aircraft was damaged.
And in this whole situation with two strikes, the range of the cotton is of course interesting. In particular, the Seshcha airfield is located about 160 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
But the Taman transshipment complex is at least 280 kilometers from the current front line. And with a high degree of probability, the means of delivering cotton to Taman had a range of more than 300 kilometers and still had to get through the frontline zone, the occupied territory, and through air defense positions near the Crimean bridge.
Or it could have flown around the Crimean peninsula, which suggests an even greater range.
And in both cases, the destruction of such facilities as the port and the airfield where strategic military transport aircraft are based eloquently testifies to the state of the Rashists’ air defense and their inability to cover all important facilities. This means that the massive use of cheap, long-range kamikaze drones against Russia is potentially more than effective.
