Apple is going to work on 6G
Insider Mark Gurman says that Apple is going to introduce 6G support in its devices. The work is currently at an early stage, macrumors reports.
For example, the company recently opened a vacancy for a software architect for modem systems. This specialist will have to coordinate the design and modeling of the 6G reference architecture. In general, the company wants to hire more engineers for the relevant developments.
Theoretically, 6G can provide speeds more than 100 times faster than 5G. It is expected that this standard will appear on consumer devices closer to 2030.
