The American company Cyrusher has shown an electric snowboard that reaches speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour on snow and can travel 20 kilometers in this way.
The invention is distinguished from a conventional snowboard by a powerful electric motor that spins a wheel at the back of the board,writes about the development of New Atlas.
How to ride such a snowboard?
According to the company’s video, riding an electric snowboard will be almost the same as riding a regular one: the snowboarder has to fix his or her boots on the board in the same way, but additionally place the battery needed for power in the backpack. The size of the board is 156 centimeters, but it can support a weight of 113 kilograms. As Cyrusher shows in the video, their snowboard, thanks to a 3,000-watt motor, can not only travel on straight slopes of snow, but also overcome obstacles such as tree roots and hills. To control the snowboard, you need to press a button on the handheld control panel. In addition, you can adjust the wheel height to soften the feeling of riding over bumps.
