Ukrainian tankers show combat work on T-64 near Bakhmut (photo)
Footage of the Ukrainian crew of a T-64BV tank firing appeared.
Soldiers fired from 125-mm T-64BV cannon in the Bakhmut sector.
According to the soldiers, speed, protection and a powerful gun make tanks relevant in modern warfare.
The T-64BV is the main battle tank. It was developed in Kharkiv in the early 60s.
For the first time in the world, the T-64 was equipped with a charging machine, which reduced the crew from four to three people (commander, gunner and driver). Other radical improvements included a comprehensive multi-layer combined protection system, a weapons of mass destruction protection system and a new original layout of the engine and transmission compartment.
