Unique footage of Ukrainian Armed Forces training on Abrams tanks has appeared online
The media showed unique footage of Ukrainian tankers training to operate American M1A1 Abrams tanks, which were supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of US military assistance.
The footage was posted on January 14 by Military Land on Twitter (X).
“Training of Ukrainian tank troops on US-supplied M1A1 Abrams tanks abroad, summer 2023,” the video’s comments read.
In the footage, Ukrainian soldiers first undergo theoretical training, then arrive at the training ground, get acquainted with the technical features of combat vehicles, and equip the vehicles with ammunition.
You can also see that the driver mechanics are already confidently driving the tanks, performing various maneuvers at the training ground, while the rest of the crews are practicing their skills in inflicting fire damage with the main guns and machine guns.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of the video, the chevron of the Main Battle Tank Systems project manager was shown, which was practically never seen before in the information field. It shows the inscription in English letters “Slava Ukraini” and below it – Glory to the Heroes.
