The photo of the Il-22 aircraft shot down over the Sea of Azov has been released
A photo of a downed Russian Il-22 aircraft was posted online. They say that this is the same plane that was attacked last night over the Azov Sea. It won’t be taking to the skies anytime soon.
The Fighterbomber telegram group showed a photo of this plane, which managed to reach the city of Anapa.
You can see a large number of holes in the tail section of the airplane.
“To say that the crew of the IL-22 are real heroes would be an understatement. I hope we will hear their story in the first person,” one of the publicists said.
Prior to that, Russian channels claimed that the pilots managed to land the IL-22 after being damaged. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on the information about the downed planes. He stated that he did not have the relevant information and advised to contact the Ministry of Defense.
