Dangerous maneuver: Russian Su-25 almost collided with Ukrainian FPV drone on the eastern front (video)
In eastern Ukraine, an incident occurred in which a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft nearly collided with an Armed Forces drone. A video from the drone’s camera was posted on the Defense Forces’ social media the day before.
The video shows the occupiers’ plane passing just a few meters from the FPV drone hovering in the air. The main applications for this type of drone are video surveillance and attacks on infantry and lightly armored targets in kamikaze mode or with attached explosives. The abbreviation of the aircraft stands for First Person View, which means “First Person View”.

Assumptions about the possible consequences of the clash remain at the level of conjecture. It is believed that the Russian pilot could have deliberately flown close to the drone in order to destroy it with the air stream.
Opponents of this version argue that the UAV’s small size and high speed did not allow the pilot to see the Ukrainian “bird” and that the video footage was the result of an accident.
Some have even suggested the possibility of destroying the Russian Rook with a penny device, citing numerous cases of airplane crashes after collisions with birds.
