Ukrainian Armed Forces show how Ukrainian AI drones independently hunt the enemy (video)
The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated how the Ukrainian Saker Scout drone with artificial intelligence is being used against the Russian occupiers. It was adopted by our army last year.
The footage shows the process of capturing and recognizing enemy targets. After that, the UAVs strike the designated targets without the operator’s involvement.
Earlier, the developers of the drone confirmed to Forbes that Saker Scout has already carried out several autonomous strikes against Russian troops.
The Saker Scout is equipped with a system that recognizes and attacks 64 types of targets in areas where other drones cannot operate due to electronic warfare systems.
The complex consists of several UAVs, one of which works as a scout and can independently recognize enemy vehicles, even camouflaged ones, determine their coordinates and transmit this information to the command post. Its main task is to target FPV kamikaze drones, which are also part of the complex.
The drone has a range of up to 10 km. Resistance to enemy electronic warfare is ensured by the inertial navigation system – even in case of loss of satellite navigation, the drone will know where it is.
