OpenAI was accused of illegal collection of personal data by their ChatGPT
The Italian privacy regulator has stated that OpenAI technologies such as ChatGPT and their methods of collecting user data violate Italian data protection laws.

The investigation, launched by this body in March last year, ended with the publication of the results on Monday, and OpenAI has already received notification of the charges.
The Italian regulator stated that the information received indicates the existence of one or more violations of European Union laws by OpenAI. The company has 30 days to submit its response to the investigation.
