“Someone drank too much on Saturday…” – Gorokhovsky amused by explaining the cause of the Monobank failure
On Sunday, March 3, the Monobank app experienced a technicalfailure. At the same time, as of 11:53 a.m., it is already working.
“Everything is fine now. I apologize again. Someone drank too much on Saturday, so they couldn’t wake up properly in the morning. Therefore, the conclusion is that IT people should not drink together, but only according to a schedule,” Oleg Gorokhovsky, co-founder of Monobank, wrote on his Telegram channel.
Prior to that, it was possible to log in to the mobile app, but it warned of a crash. However, it was not possible to make any transactions, from replenishing a mobile phone to transferring funds.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainians can withdraw considerable amounts from their accounts through ATMs, but not unlimited amounts and not always. The fact is that after the outbreak of the full-scale war, limits were set on cash withdrawals to avoid a shortage.
At the same time, there is no single limit for all banks – each of them sets its own.
