Evacuation in Belgorod and Kursk: volunteers warn of strikes on Russian occupiers
Residents of Belgorod and Kursk (Russia) were urged to temporarily leave the cities in connection with planned strikes on the firing positions of the Russian occupiers. On March 13, Russian soldiers fighting on the side of Ukraine against the Kremlin’s aggression warned of the danger.
A joint statement was issued by the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps, and the Siberian Battalion. On the morning of March 12, they launched a new operation on the territory of the aggressor country.
“We are appealing to our fellow citizens: residents of Belgorod, officials of the Belgorod administration, and all those who can hear us. Putin’s murderers are launching massive attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities, putting their positions between your homes, your children’s schools and government buildings. Every day dozens of innocent people (mostly women and children) are killed by shelling from Belgorod. Shelling of Ukraine from the territory of Belgorod must stop!
In this regard, we are forced to strike at military positions located in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk,” the soldiers warned.
They appealed to the authorities of Kursk and Belgorod regions to start evacuating the regional centers.
“In order to avoid civilian casualties, we urge everyone to leave the cities immediately,” the Russian defenders of Ukraine said.
