A drone attacks an administrative building in Belgorod, there are victims

The Ministry of Defense, commenting on the “successful” work of the air defense forces, accused Ukraine of using drones. According to the governor of the region, two men sustained various injuries as a result of the UAV attack.

In Belgorod, a drone flew into a building. This was reported by the Belgorodets Telegram channel.

The video shows that the building was damaged. No details on the consequences of the attack were provided in local public media.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Telegram that Ukrainian troops would strike in the region on April 12. According to their data, airplane-type UAVs were used against targets in the Russian Federation.

“Five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems over the territory of Belgorod region,” the post reads.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, said on Telegram that the city had suffered a new attack. According to him, the drone hit the building of a utility company. Two people were wounded in the attack: one man sustained shrapnel wounds to his lower limb, and the other sustained shrapnel wounds to his upper and lower limbs.

Shelling of Belgorod

On the night of March 23, the territory of the Russian Federation was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles. It is reported that five UAVs were destroyed in Belgorod and Bryansk regions, and one drone in Voronezh and Saratov regions.

On April 1, Russian aviation dropped two more 500-kilogram bombs with high explosive warheads in the Belgorod region. Journalists noted that this was the 16th time that Russian bombs had fallen in the Belgorod region in the last two weeks.

On April 12, Le Figaro reported that the war was depleting Ukraine’s resources and that the first to mobilize would win. The publication notes that both sides are reluctant to mobilize. In Ukraine, society is tired of the ongoing war, and in Russia, the regime is trying to avoid unpopular decisions that could cause the formation of an opposition.
