Ukraine may extend the deadline for updating data for persons liable for military service to 150 days
MP Volodymyr Ariev said that a draft law will be registered in the Verkhovna Rada that proposes to extend the deadline for updating the data of persons liable for military service to 150 days. He said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
“Now the TCC system is not ready to accept the number of citizens who have gone to update their data. After updating the data in the Reserve+ app and the wanted list, you still need to go to the TCC. This shows that the app was developed very quickly and in a short time. Moreover, it turned out that the codes used to create the app were copied from a school program. That is why, at the next meeting of the Digital Transformation Committee, we summoned the Deputy Minister of Defense and asked a number of questions to the government. In particular, where the funds were allocated to create the app and whether a tender for the software developer was held,” – Ariev said.
The MP emphasized that all those liable for military service will not have time to update their data within 60 days.
“Citizens simply won’t be able to physically update their data in 60 days, and they may face heavy fines. That’s why my colleagues and I are registering a draft law today to extend the period for updating the data of persons liable for military service from 60 to 150 days. We will demand that the government and the Ministry of Defense develop an app to relieve the TCC and allow issues that can only be resolved after visiting the Territorial Recruitment Center to be resolved online,” he added.
