Zero customs clearance for some segments of the population may be extended in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada wants to allow cars to be cleared through customs on preferential terms. However, we are talking about only some Ukrainians. Namely, for those who have been ‘stuck’ at the border since July 1. It is these people who can get the opportunity to clear customs for cars with foreign license plates for free.
As noted by AUTO-Consulting, the relevant project has already been registered with the Republic of Belarus. According to it, the deputies propose to provide an opportunity for 1 month to clear customs for cars with foreign license plates declared before July 1, 2022. But the cost of such machines should not exceed 10 thousand dollars.
We will remind you that from the beginning of April to June 30, 2022, 236,792 cars were imported into Ukraine during the period of ‘zero’ customs clearance, most of which were driven in June.
