The USA will send the first NASAMS complexes to Ukraine within two months
Systems provide air defense
The US plans to transfer two NASAMS systems that provide air defense to Ukraine within the next two months. This was announced by the press secretary of the Pentagon, Brigadier General Pat Ryder.
According to him, anti-aircraft missile systems will contribute to the further protection of Ukrainians from enemy air threats, in particular from aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles.
NASAMS consists of AMRAAM missiles, advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles, the Sentinel radar, and a fire distribution center module developed by Norway’s Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace.
