The actions of the military in Putin’s entourage, which may be related to the use of nuclear weapons, are under the supervision of American special services.

U.S. intelligence agencies have stepped up efforts to track any actions by the Russian military that may indicate Putin ordered the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

Politico reports on activity from the US side.

US Secretary of State Blinken stated that the Allies have a powerful response ready to such Russian actions, but it is not yet clear what it will consist of.

American officials interviewed by reporters are concerned that confirmation of Putin’s nuclear strike decision may come too late.

Many Russian aircraft can carry small nuclear weapons along with conventional missiles. And it will not be possible to learn about it immediately, as, for example, about the beginning of activity in ballistic missile units. That is, it is possible that Putin will replace conventional projectiles with atomic bombs.

Therefore, the USA monitors all changes in this regard, at all levels, in all of Putin’s entourage.

Mobilized Russians who were sent to the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions are given iodine preparations, Russian mass media report. In addition, many Russian politicians, including Vedmedev, are scattered with threats about the task of a nuclear strike.

In Ukraine, they also believe that the successes of the Ukrainian army are driving the Russians into a dead end, and the inadequacy of the authorities to authorize the use of unconventional weapons, therefore, instructions are being developed for the Ukrainian military and the population on the first actions in the event of a nuclear explosion.

At the same time, Ukraine says that even the use of nuclear weapons will not stop Ukrainians who defend their homeland.
