Ukrainian air defense shot down 18 out of 20 Iranian Shahed-136 drones in a day
Ukrainian Air Defense Forces continue to effectively shoot down enemy drones.
According to the information of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhnyi, Ukrainian air defense shot down 18 out of 20 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones in the past day. They were released at critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
Over the last day, 18 out of 20 "Shahed-136" UAVs, which were used against the critical infrastructure of our country, were destroyed by air defense assets.#ValeriiZaluzhnyi

Shahed-136 is an Iranian kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle. It was presented for the first time in 2020. The declared flight range is 2000 km. The UAV is equipped with a triangular wing with stabilizers at the ends, a warhead, a propeller and an engine.
