Germany handed Ukraine a new package of military aid, which includes ammunition for IRIS-T air defense systems and other non-combat equipment
This is stated in a message on the website of the German government.
The new package of military aid included IRIS-T SLM missiles, 13 trucks, two 15t loaders, 12 road trains and four semi-trailers, 12 patrol cars, two pickups to the 143 delivered earlier.
“For security reasons, the federal government refrains from providing details on the methods of transportation and dates until the moment of transfer,” the website of the highest executive body of the Federal Republic of Germany noted.
- On January 25, Germany agreed to supply Ukraine with 14 Leopard 2 tanks, and also allowed re-export by other countries.
- Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz ruled out the transfer of combat aircraft to Ukraine on January 25.
