Robotic dog Spot walks the streets of Kyiv (video)
Boston Dynamics’ Spot robotic dog walked the streets of Kyiv and demonstrated its capabilities to the residents of the capital. Naturally, the footage of the robot quickly appeared on social media.
At least two videos featuring the Boston Dynamics robot were posted on social media. Spot was spotted near the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute complex on Industrialnyi Lane and also showed that it can cross the road on a pedestrian crossing according to the rules.
Boston Dynamics introduced Spot in mid-2020. The company stated that the robotic dog cost $74,500 and refused to sell it to the military. Since then, Spot has repeatedly demonstrated its skills.
In particular, at the end of last year, three robots were able to decorate a Christmas tree with difficulty. A few days ago, five Spot dogs took part in the Coperni fashion show in Paris, where they successfully interacted with models on the runway.
