Ukrainian Skynetua drone proves invulnerable to enemy electronic warfare
Engineer Andriy Dronov reported on the next flight tests of the Skynetua drone. This time, it was tested in conditions of electronic warfare.
On Facebook, the expert said that on April 2, he and his drone visited Kharkiv, where he met with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is for them that Dronov assembles drones. The engineer asked the military to test Skynetua in conditions of exposure to various types of electronic warfare.
During the tests, the drone successfully overcame the effects of the Bukovel AD system manufactured by the Ukrainian company Proximus and an anti-drone gun. Neither the former nor the latter managed to jam the image transmission and real-time control signals.
According to Dronov, tests conducted in Kharkiv showed that the drone is invulnerable to enemy electronic warfare. The engineer noted that Skynetua will soon be brought to an industrial model. After that, the drone will enter service with the Armed Forces. One of Skynetua’s strengths is its hand-launch capability. It does not need any catapults or launchers to take off.
