In Novosibirsk (Russia), guerrillas destroyed a Su-24 combat aircraft on the territory of the Sukhoi aircraft plant. The bomber was parked on a site intended for the repair and modernization of aircraft.
According to the National Legion’s Freedom of Russia movement, the plane was destroyed on the morning of May 8. “They wanted a holiday? They got it! Unknown patriots congratulated the criminal authorities on Victory Day with a light,” the statement said.
Russia said that the plane had “successfully burned down” and would no longer need repairs.
It is also noted that the guerrillas burned the Russian bomber to show that the war against Ukraine must be ended.
“You can’t fight for peace by killing children and women in a neighboring country. The Kremlin has indeed “repeated” the crimes of the Nazi regime against humanity, and everyone involved will be held accountable for it in court,” Freedom of Russia said.
The activists noted that on May 9, the “victory craze” began in Russia, although the war veterans themselves honored those who died in World War II, commemorated friends and comrades-in-arms and prayed that the war would never happen again.
We wrote earlier that during the Victory Day parade on May 9, “Glory to Ukraine” was played in Russia. Thanks to the hackers who hacked into the TV, the Russian military marched across Red Square to the words of the Ukrainian patriotic slogan.
