German drone manufacturer Quantum Systems opens representative offices in Ukraine

Quantum Systems, a German company that manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles, has opened its representative offices in Ukraine.

These are service training, support and logistics centers. First of all, they will teach the use and maintenance of Vector UAVs. In addition, the centers will purchase spare parts and repair damaged drones.

Since last summer, Ukraine has been actively using Quantum Systems drones, namely Vector. The company says that the UAV offers unmatched maneuverability and rapid deployment capabilities. Ready to use in 2 minutes, it provides continuous detection of enemy targets regardless of weather conditions, reaches speeds of up to 72 km/h and can withstand long flight times. The manufacturer’s drones operate with artificial intelligence systems that facilitate object recognition during aerial reconnaissance.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine recently ordered 300 medium-range Vector reconnaissance drones from Quantum Systems. The supply will be financed by the German government. Prior to that, the company had already fulfilled Ukraine’s order twice: in August 2022, it delivered 33 drones, and in January 2023, 105 UAVs.
