Rosenbaurer Panther entered service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian Armed Forces received several Rosenbaurer Panthers from Ukraine’s allies. These unique fire trucks are an advanced development in the field of firefighting at airfields.
It is known that two vehicles were on combat duty. According to experts, every military airfield in Ukraine should have at least one Rosenbaurer Panther. The published photos show that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received armored vehicles of the 6200/750/135 model.
The Rosenbaurer Panther has an all-wheel drive layout. The number of crew members is 4 people. One fire truck can hold 135 kg of powder, 750 liters of foaming agent and 6,200 liters of water. The capacity of the high-performance pump installed in the fire truck is 100 liters per second. Water is supplied through a carriage barrel at a speed of 1,200 liters per meter. The machine boasts a thermal imager.
The power plant of the car has a capacity of 705 hp. с. On the highway, it can reach a speed of 115 km/h.
