Rare target hit by UAV, SBU fighters “get” Russian “Zoo”

Fighters of the SBU’s Central Special Forces “A” are effectively destroying the Russian army using unmanned aerial vehicles.

Fighters of the SBU Special Operations Center “A” are effectively destroying weapons and military equipment of the Russian occupation army using attack drones, including FPV drones. The SBU recently published a video and reported on another target destroyed.

Thus, during the week, the SBU Special Forces “A” destroyed a number of targets, including 16 tanks, five self-propelled artillery systems, 14 armored combat vehicles, 16 enemy trucks, three Murom surveillance systems, one TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek”, two anti-aircraft missile systems – “Tor” and “Buk”, more than one hundred and fifty killed and wounded occupants and other equipment.

But it is important to emphasize that the Zoopark radar station was among the targets destroyed, and this is a rather valuable target, both in terms of its importance and the number of such radars destroyed in general.

Thus, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupiers have lost at least 9 radars of the Zoo complex, according to Oryx, including two radars 1L219 from the Zoo complex (one of which was destroyed and one damaged), and seven more radars 1L261 from the Zoo-1M complex (three destroyed, two damaged, and two trophies).

In particular, one of the 1L261s was captured by the Ukrainian Defense Forces during the liberation of Kharkiv region back in 2022, and it is a really valuable trophy because it opens up the possibility of assessing the real capabilities of this counter-battery radar.

The Rashists lost one of their radars for the Zoo complex in a comical situation when the radar was disabled because the occupiers simply did not calculate the height of the bridge under which they wanted to transport their Zoo.
