It is reported that the roof of the power plant of the 6th power unit over an area of 200 square meters caught fire.
But rescuers say that dozens of firefighters have arrived at the scene.
The SDPP itself reported that the open fire on the territory of Novocherkassk SDPP was extinguished and the power plant was suspended.
Local media, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, write that the fire has already spread to 400 square meters, injuring 3 people.
Later, Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev said that temporary restrictions on electricity supply had been imposed in the region.
