“Bayraktar Akinci. HGK-82 firing with high accuracy in Tekirdag, Chorlu province,” the statement said.
Experts organized firing from the Akinci drone and tested the HGK-82 smart guidance system. Drone munitions can hit targets from the ground with high accuracy.
“The Bayraktar Akinci took off with MK-82 ammunition under the guidance of specialists from the Akinci Flight Training and Test Center. The fired projectile successfully hit the target,” Baykar said in a press release following the test.
Last July, Vaykar successfully tested the Akinci strike drone equipped with an LGK-82 laser-guided missile.
For the first time, the Akinci strike drone with Ukrainian Ai-450 engines took part in international exercises on June 22 last year.
