Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy an Alligator attack helicopter worth $16 million in the Donetsk sector
On the evening of June 16, the Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter, better known as an Alligator. One of these costs about $16 million.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the helicopter was shot down at about 21:00 by a unit of the Air Force in the Donetsk sector.
“The Alligator is one of the newest units of Russian combat aircraft in service in Russia, costing approximately $16 million.
The helicopter is equipped with an anti-tank missile system, a cannon with a laser guidance system, air bombs and other weapons.
As of the morning, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 301 destroyed occupant helicopters, 314 aircraft, 3357 operational and tactical drones, and thousands of other pieces of equipment.
