The first country to announce its readiness to provide the Ukrainian Air Force with fourth-generation F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets. Denmark became the country.

What is known

Acting Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said that Denmark is ready to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine under one condition. Denmark will provide aircraft to the Ukrainian Air Force if the delivery is approved by the United States. But this was already clear.

The Royal Danish Air Force has 43 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters in service, 30 of which are an active part of the fleet. But now they are being replaced by more modern American fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighters.
