Bohdana self-propelled gun is capable of firing corrected Excalibur ammunition (video)

At the beginning of this year, Oleksiy Reznikov announced the launch of the Bohdan self-propelled gun system’s serial assembly. This is the first Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system of NATO caliber.

Last weekend, a video was posted on the global web showing a Bohdana being fired by an Excalibur high-precision munition. The range of this artillery shell with dynamic rudders can exceed 70 km. For comparison, the range of the Bohdan self-propelled artillery system’s targets when using active-reactive missiles is 60 km.

The promising Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system was baptized last year during the de-occupation of Zmiinyi Island. According to Reznikov, it is known that KrAZ, Tatra or MAN can be used as chassis in the updated Bogdan. It can fire five shots in a minute. “Bohdana is the only Ukrainian 155-mm artillery system.
