“Bakhmut is under threat of storming”: Russian military officers complain about the failure of the Russian Armed Forces in Klishchiyivka (photo)

Propagandist Oleksandr Sladkov claims that Russian troops were probably forced to withdraw from the settlement, which will put Bakhmut under the fire control of the Ukrainian army. The General Staff has not yet officially announced the de-occupation of Klishchiyivka.

The Russian occupiers probably left the frontline near the village of Klishchiyivka near Bakhmut. At least, this is what Russian military correspondent Alexander Sladkov reports in his telegram channel.

“We left Klishchiyivka. It is near Bakhmut. We need to check, if they refute it, I will be glad. If they do, it’s bad. Bakhmut is under the fire control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. I can’t say a single bad word about our guys who have retreated. According to my information, it is a shelling diet again. I am glad to be wrong. You cannot be strong without strength. The weak do not win. The city of Bakhmut is under the threat of storming. Will we hold it? Who knows?” he wrote.

At the same time, the so-called First Deputy Minister of Information of the “DPR” Danylo Bezsonov claimed that Russians controlled Klishchiyivka.

“The fighters from the Klishchiyivka area have just written. Klishchiyivka is ours. For the fourth day the enemy has been actively attacking our positions from several sides, with an average of about 20 attacks per day, but nothing works and the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffer losses,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces write about the battles for Klishchiyivka and refute Sladkov’s report that the occupiers have withdrawn from the settlement. This was reported by the Bakhmut Demon.

“The battle for Klishchiyivka continues, it is still difficult. In the area of Pokrovske and Bakhmutske we destroyed Grads and artillery of the occupiers, they have heavy losses in artillery, uncle Khimars is working well. We will have great news, we have almost completed something. The ticks have not retreated yet, hey, Sladkov is lying. But their situation is critical, and we created it. We hope their reserves may not make it. The coffin lid is slamming shut for the occupiers, everything is according to plan,” the message says.

At the time of publication, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not confirm the de-occupation of Klishchiyivka.

Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be able to liberate the temporarily occupied city of Bakhmut during a counteroffensive. For their part, the Russians are putting up a strong resistance and pulling up reserves.
