Dozens of drones attacked Crimea at night – Crimea’s gauleiter

On the night of July 18, the temporarily occupied Crimea was “massively attacked” by drones. A statement to this effect was made by the Russian-controlled head of the occupied Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.

According to him, 9 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down in the eastern part of the peninsula overnight, and another 19 were suppressed by electronic warfare (EW).

Aksyonov assured that no one was injured as a result of the incidents. Details of what happened were not provided. There are no photos or videos of the alleged attack.

The day before, explosions occurred on the Crimean bridge, which caused a wide reaction in the Russian media and social networks. Many Russian publics massively spread information about the collapse of one of the bridge spans. Aksyonov has not yet confirmed this information, but said that as a result of an “emergency incident” that occurred near the 145th pillar, traffic on the bridge was temporarily suspended.
