Czechoslovak Group has made a friend of the KHAN medium-range ballistic missile with a launcher on the Tatra 815-7 chassis

The Czech company Czechoslovak Group will showcase a launcher based on a Tatra truck for the KHAN ballistic missile at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023).

KHAN is a Turkish medium-range ballistic missile, an export version of the Bora missile. It can hit targets at a distance of up to 280 km. The total weight is 2.5 tons, including the warhead weighing almost 500 kg.

The ballistic missile is designed to destroy enemy artillery, air and missile defense systems. Navigation is performed using an inertial system, GPS or GLONASS.

The Czechoslovak Group was able to integrate the complex on a Tatra 815-7 chassis with an 8×8 wheel configuration. The launcher consists of two containers, each of which houses one KHAN ballistic missile.
