Samsung presents two new foldable smartphones Flip and Fold
Samsung has announced its next foldable smartphones – Galaxy Fold 5 and Galaxy Flip 5. They are equipped with a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an updated hinge, and an in-screen selfie camera.
Galaxy Fold 5 has a 7.6-inch internal display with a resolution of 1812 x 2176 pixels and a 6.2-inch external display with a resolution of 904 x 2316 pixels. The resolution of the main camera is 50 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP. A 4 MP selfie camera is installed under the panel. A small hole is provided for a 10 MP selfie camera.
Galaxy Flip 5 has a 6.7-inch external display with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels and a 3.4-inch internal display with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels. The smartphone also has a main camera with a resolution of 12 MP (OIS) + 12 MP, a 10 MP selfie module, stereo speakers, a side fingerprint scanner, and NFC.
The smartphones are equipped with 4400 mAh and 3700 mAh batteries and support 25 W and 15 W fast charging wirelessly. Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 will be available in two configurations: 12/512 GB and 12/1 TB. The price is $1800, $1920, and $2160, respectively. Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 will be available in two configurations: 256 GB and 512 GB. The price is $1000 and $1120.
Smartphone sales will start on August 11.
