At the beginning of the war, the Kyiv City State Administration promised that parking in the capital would be free during martial law. Now the city authorities have resumed collecting parking fees again.
You can pay for parking only on weekdays from 8:00 to 22:00. Parking is free on weekends.
You can pay for parking through the Kyiv Digital app in a few steps:
- Select Driver services → Hourly parking.
- Select a license plate number from the list or enter it.
- Choose a parking lot. Make sure that the number on the parking plate matches the parking lot number in the app.
- Click “Start parking”. The countdown will begin.
- Click “Finish parking” as soon as the car leaves the parking lot.
The cost of parking depends on the zone and type of vehicle:
The fine for unpaid parking is 20 times the cost of one hour of parking.
In the app, you can set the time for automatic parking end, otherwise parking ends automatically at 22:00.
The payment is charged as long as the parking is in progress in the app, regardless of the car’s location.
The funds are debited automatically when the total amount for hourly parking reaches 100 UAH. If the amount is less, the payment is debited on the 1st of the following month.
Kyiv Digital users can add multiple license plates to the application. Before you start parking, you need to select the required one in the hourly parking menu.
You can pay with a bank card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Cash is not accepted in municipal parking lots.
