The Ukrainian Defense Forces have conducted precision strikes on the positions of Russian troops occupying Dzharylgach Island in Kherson region, which is part of the National Nature Park. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the National Resistance Center.
“The defense forces are destroying the occupiers with jewelry precision,” the publication says.
According to the publication, there were at least five infantry units on the island.
The occupiers tried to hide in scanty thickets and training trenches.
Before the outbreak of the full-scale war, the largest island in the Black Sea was connected to the mainland of Ukraine by a boat crossing.
But after the occupation of the Kherson region, the water space separating the island from the coast of Lazurne was covered with sand to make it easier to transport military equipment.
