Russians wanted to fire at Ukrainian Armed Forces with mortars, but a drone prevented them (video)

The occupiers unloaded their weapons from the truck and were preparing them for battle when a drone with explosives crashed into them.

Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized Russian occupants using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The video was posted on his Telegram channel by volunteer Serhiy Sternenko on Wednesday, August 2.

“The occupiers wanted to shoot at our people with a mortar. But the FPV drone changed their plans,” Sternenko signed the video.

We see three Russian soldiers unloading a mortar from a car. Judging by the footage, this is happening on the outskirts of one of the occupied Ukrainian cities. First, the occupiers are spotted by a reconnaissance drone. Having checked the situation, the operator sends an unmanned aerial vehicle with explosives to the specified square, which crashes into the group of occupants. At this point, the video stream is interrupted and an inscription appears on the screen stating that the drone has lost connection and can no longer transmit a signal.

Judging by the watermarks on the video, the operation to destroy the enemy’s military equipment and manpower was carried out by fighters of the KORD special forces unit of the National Police of Ukraine and fighters of the 126th separate territorial defense brigade.

Earlier, the military showed how they blew up a Russian tank on the front line with a drone. The operators launched a drone at the equipment. He hovered over his target for several seconds and then dropped a munition into the open hatch of the tank. There was an explosion and the equipment was immediately engulfed in a powerful flame. Then it subsided, but military equipment was still smoking.

And in July 2023, an Armed Forces drone destroyed the latest Russian tank, the Proryv. During Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers have already lost 22 Breakthrough tanks, while the enemy army had 100 units of this military equipment in service before.
