Ukrainian Armed Forces show destruction of SNAR-10 Leopard reconnaissance station
Ukrainian tankers showed footage of the destruction of a unique reconnaissance station and other targets. The first to report the news was the “StratCom ZSU” TV channel.
In the first shots you can see the SNAR-10 Leopard. According to experts, the reconnaissance station can detect a person at a distance of 15 km. It can see armored vehicles at a distance of up to 35 km.
The station’s position was discovered by aerial reconnaissance. To strike the target, the Ukrainian Armed Forces decided to use a “high-precision cannon”. The attack itself was filmed from several angles. This indicates that several aircraft were monitoring the target.
The video also shows Ukrainian tanks destroying targets in the forest and the occupiers’ headquarters in a Ukrainian village.
The SNAR-10 was developed in the Soviet era. The reconnaissance station uses a Doppler signal to detect equipment and personnel. In addition to ground targets, the station is capable of detecting surface targets at a distance of up to 40 km.
