Japan creates a giant robot Arcax, which can be controlled by a person from the inside
The Japanese company TSUBAME has taken the future of robotics to a new level by creating a giant robot called Arcax. It’s not just a giant machine, it’s a real technological work of art that can be operated by humans.
The Arcax fascinates with its futuristic look, combining elements of a forklift with manipulators and a movable platform. This 4.5-meter-long, 3.5-ton machine, with a width and length comparable to a small truck, looks impressive.
The robot’s body has a unique FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) coating, manually machined and polished, and coated with a special yellow and blue automotive paint to create a metallic effect.
However, Arcax doesn’t just look good. It is equipped with numerous LED lights and beacons that serve as indicators, informing about the robot’s status and its working methods.
What makes Arcax truly unique are its functional manipulator arms and the ability to transform its wheel platform. Thanks to the extended wheelbase, the robot can crouch for faster and more stable driving.
There are three monitors in the cockpit for a better view, and cameras around the hull provide an ambient view. A powerful electric motor turns Arcax into a real dynamic force.
TSUBAME is proud to state that the entire Arcax design and mechanisms are fully developed in accordance with ISO and JIS safety standards. This robot is not only an impressive technical achievement, but also a symbol of an innovative view of the future.
