At the Caravan Show in Düsseldorf, the brand surprised with a neo-retro Type Holiday camper based on a modern MPV in a style reminiscent of the 40s of the last century.
The new Type Holidays is based on the Citroёn SpaceTourer. The designers pay attention to the lift-up roof, a sofa bed, a kitchenette in the cabin, a folding table for work, etc.
With this newcomer with a rich historical pedigree, the brand aims to carve out its own niche in the market, but the manufacturer will reveal all the details at the end of 2023.
The current Citroën Type Holidays utilizes the existing advantages of the standard Citroën SpaceTourer, including roominess, comfort, quiet operation and two sliding side doors for easy access.
Citroën worked with Slovakian specialists Bravia Mobil to complete the van. Equipment includes a retractable roof that allows passengers to stand at full height in the living space, a large bed for two and a folding two-row seat that can be converted into another bed for two people if necessary.
The developers point to two front seats that turn into the living area of the car and a full kitchenette with a stove, sink, and refrigerator. For gatherings in bad weather, the cabin is equipped with a folding table that can be used for work. There are also several storage cabinets.
In cold weather, travelers will be warmed by the Webasto autonomous heating system. Its power is designed to ensure optimal cabin temperature even in bitter cold.
The manufacturer has already given a superficial description, and promised to announce details and a price tag at the end of the year.
