Ukraine has developed the “Big Bandera” attack drone

A group of Ukrainian engineers has developed an attack octocopter. They called their brainchild “The Great Bandera”.

In an interview with ArmyInform, the creators of the octocopter said that they began manufacturing the aircraft a few weeks after the invasion began. Initially, Ukrainian engineers adapted agricultural drones for the needs of the Armed Forces, designed for irrigation.

During the testing of the drones, it turned out that the octocircuit was the most stable. The Big Bandera drone has a takeoff weight of 31.5 kg. It is capable of carrying up to 8 kg of payload. According to the developers, the UAV is equipped with eight engines. There was a case when it flew 7 kilometers with a broken engine.

The creators of the “Great Bandera” equipped it with a multifunctional reset system. It makes it possible to use different types of ammunition in tandem with the drone. The engineers are proud of the universal ground station. It can be used to control Banderyk and other drones used by the Armed Forces on the front line.
