Pskov airfield attacked by drones: Russia reports damage to Il-76 aircraft (video)

The explosions became known after 23:00 Kyiv time. Locals emphasize that a fire is visible near the Pskov airfield. The sounds of machine gun fire were also reported.

According to Baza, Pskov was attacked by at least 10 unidentified UAVs. At the same time, as of 00:15, the drone attack continues.

The Russian propaganda outlet TASS reports that four Il-76 aircraft (a heavy military transport aircraft – ed.) were damaged in Pskov.

Governor Mikhail Vedernikov said the air defense system was working.

“The Defense Ministry is repelling a drone attack at the Pskov airport. I have been personally on the spot since the beginning of the incident,” the Russian wrote.

There are allegedly no victims. The scale of the destruction is being clarified.

The Russian city of Pskov is located 100 kilometers from Estonia and Latvia. It is at least 700 km away from the territory of Ukraine.
