Ukrainian army reinforced with YRP-765 infantry fighting vehicles with Oerlikon guns (video)
Belgian infantry fighting vehicles were spotted at the front for the first time. A video of the YPR-765 armored vehicle manufactured in the Netherlands was published in X.
The manufacturer of the YPR-765 is the Dutch company DAF. The Ukrainian army received them in the PRI version. This means that the BMP is equipped with a 25-mm Oerlikon KBA B03 automatic cannon and a twin FN MAG machine gun.

The Dutch version of the BMP differs from the Belgian version in the placement of smoke grenade launchers. In the first case, they are mounted in front of the tower, and in the second case, they are mounted on the tower. The armies of both countries used these infantry fighting vehicles to transport infantry. The capacity of the armored vehicle’s landing compartment is 7 people.
In addition to infantrymen, the BMP carries 180 rounds of ammunition for a 25-mm cannon. The YRP-765 tower is equipped with a daytime sighting system and a thermal imager.
