New powerful explosions in Kursk region (video)

On the night of September 4, explosions occurred in the city of Kurchatov, Kursk region. This followed an evening incident a few hours earlier, when a drone was reported to have crashed near a nuclear power plant.

It is noted that air defense systems were operating in the city. Residents reported online that they heard at least three explosions that night, although others claimed there were five.

Earlier, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that a fire in a non-residential building, which, according to him, was caused by a drone “arrival,” had started. The official, as usual, accused the Ukrainian side of a “UAV attack.”

The Russian Federation claims that the distance from the town of Kurchatov to the Kursk NPP is about 4 kilometers.
