On September 7, after 3 a.m., several explosions occurred in Rostov. Local residents write that one of them was on Pushkinskaya Street, near the headquarters of the southern military district of the Russian Armed Forces.
Initially, Rostov publics reported that “pops of unclear origin” were heard over the city and three explosions were reported: one near the headquarters of the Russian Air Defense Forces, and the other two “at intervals of 15 minutes, looked like air defense.”
One of the Rostov media outlets reported that a parked car near the trading house of L.I. Mints had allegedly exploded. In addition to this car, several other cars were damaged, and windows were smashed in nearby houses.
“Two UAVs were shot down, one fell outside the city in the western part of Rostov, the other in the center, near 42 Pushkinskaya Street,” the local governor later said.
