Bulgaria will ban Russian cars from entering the country, and will do so by the end of the day.
This was reported by the Director of the Border Police of Bulgaria Anton Zlatanov, quoted by the local Tribune.
“We have been working very actively since Thursday until yesterday. I am confident that by the end of the day, a ban on the entry of Russian passenger cars into our country will be in effect in Bulgaria,” he emphasized.
Zlatanov reminded that such a ban has been in effect for trucks for several months. He did not name the number of Russian cars that enter the country every month, but emphasized that they are few.
Earlier, Finland introduced round-the-clock control at the border with Norway to prevent cars with Russian license plates from entering.
