Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a convoy of Russian Armed Forces vehicles with crews in Donetsk region (video)
The occupiers launched an assault, and to make it successful, they first used an engineering demining machine.
In one area of the frontline in Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated Russian assault vehicles and destroyed their demining machine. This was reported by the press service of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“What does the enemy do if it cannot break through the defense of the 79th paratroopers? That’s right: they keep trying and get kicked in the teeth again. Recently, the enemy again resorted to a massive assault on the positions of the Mykolaiv Maroon Berets, using tanks, armored personnel carriers and other armored vehicles,” the statement said.
It is noted that the Russian invaders decided to test the strength of the defense of the 79th paratroopers and stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The occupiers expected it to be successful, and for this purpose they first launched an engineering demining machine. But nothing came of that adventure. Using kamikaze drones and artillery, the paratroopers began to attack the occupiers on the outskirts of their positions.
Then, the soldiers of the 79th Brigade used minefields, which they set up in time to prevent the uninvited guests. Enemy armored vehicles began to explode on them.
Realizing that nothing but a fiasco awaited him, the enemy began to turn around and flee, receiving a barrage of fire.
Thanks to the work of Mykolaiv paratroopers, the demining equipment was the first to get into hell. It was followed by 4 tanks and 4 armored combat vehicles, taking about two dozen Russian occupiers with them to the other side.
In the Tavriya sector, one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ units repelled an assault by the Russian Armed Forces, which were outnumbered, without loss of life, and also defeated their positions, to which they retreated.
