Ukraine will once again face a “battle for electricity”, the enemy’s stockpile is enough to create problems – Budanov’s forecast

Russian occupation forces are amassing forces and means to launch missile strikes on Ukraine’s energy system.

The head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said this in an interview with UP.

According to him, the Russians failed to make a blackout.

“Then, thank God, it didn’t work out. But there are no major adjustments in their plans, so they will continue to do it this season. Unfortunately, we will have another battle for electricity,” Budanov said.

The head of the DIU noted that the occupiers have enough forces and means, as they have launched limited missile strikes recently.

“The enemy has restored some stockpile. This stockpile is not very significant, but it is enough to create very real problems not only for our energy sector, but also for the oil and gas sector, industrial enterprises, and military facilities,” Budanov explained, adding that Ukraine needs more air defense.
