In October, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed four Solntsepeks, most of them burned by kamikaze drones
Meanwhile, the enemy is now using the modernized TOS-2 Tosochka on the battlefield, which can hit at more than twice the distance
Soldiers of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade used a kamikaze drone to turn another heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek” of the Russian occupation forces, which was discovered by operators from the Shadow unit, into scrap metal.
For example, the Shadow unit detected an enemy TOS-1A “Solntsepek” using a reconnaissance UAV and transmitted the coordinates of the enemy vehicle to the soldiers of the 72nd Brigade, who hit it with a kamikaze drone.
The enemy vehicle seemed to be ready to carry out a combat mission, so it was probably fully loaded with ammunition – as a result, after it was hit by an attack drone, there was a powerful explosion, and later we are shown footage of the Rashid’s burned-out Solntsepek.
Interestingly, this is the fourth heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A “Solntsepek” that the Rashists lost in October, with footage of the destruction of the previous vehicles released on October 20, 13 and 7, respectively.
And if we look at Oryx data, it turns out that in October, the Defense Forces broke the record for destroyed enemy Solntsepeks, because this case is the 12th TOS-1A system that the occupiers have lost since February 2012.
It is also worth noting that three out of four Solntsepeks were destroyed in October by attack drones, which can easily turn this system into ashes, especially if it is loaded with ammunition.

At the same time, it should also be mentioned that the occupiers have recently shown that they are using a new version of their heavy flamethrower system TOS-2 “Tosochka” on the battlefield, which has received a new chassis and an increased range.
