Gvardeyske airbase was on fire: satellite photos reveal new details of explosions in Crimea that the occupiers are silent about

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, on the night of October 25, a fire broke out near the enemy’s Hvardiyske air base. This is confirmed by satellite images taken from space.

This was reported by the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, citing photos from the US space agency NASA. They noted that, judging by the fire maps, the Russian invaders’ military facility was “heavily burning.”

Earlier, the explosions in the direction of Simferopol were reported by Telegram subscribers from the Nizhnegorsk district.

Fire could have broken out at a Russian air base
The so-called Russian “authorities” of the peninsula, as well as the military of the aggressor country, did not provide any details on this matter.

As a reminder, strong explosions that shattered windows in some buildings in Sevastopol occurred late in the evening on October 24. The deputy local “governor” Yevhen Horlov wrote on social media afterward: “Calm down!!!! Everything is fine!”.

According to local online communities, one of the “pops” was heard even in Bakhchisaray.
