The US strikes Iranian munitions depots in Syria. This was reported by the US Department of Defense.
The military facilities were attacked on October 27 at approximately 04:30 (EEST). This was the first time since the end of March. The strikes on Iranian arms and ammunition depots were carried out in self-defense after US soldiers were attacked several times in Iraq and Syria since October 17.
Initially, it was reported that the United States used F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-15E Strike Eagle fighters that had recently arrived in the Middle East. According to updated information, the United States used only a pair of F-16s to carry out the strikes.

The US Armed Forces attacked Iranian military targets on the orders of US President Joe Biden. The targets were located on the border with Iraq. The warehouses were used by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its groups. The strikes were in no way coordinated with the actions of Israel, which is waging a war against Hamas.
